About
Honest testing. Clear answers.
Redstackd gives organisations, and the MSPs that look after them, the same quality of offensive security testing that large enterprises buy, without the enterprise overhead.
Our story
Redstackd was founded by James M, a penetration tester with nearly a decade of offensive security experience. Before Redstackd, James was the offensive team lead at a major cyber security firm, running penetration tests and red team engagements for clients of every size.
We started out delivering white-label penetration tests for managed service providers, and saw the same problem again and again: smaller organisations were being sold scanner output dressed up as a penetration test, with reports nobody could act on. Redstackd exists to do it properly: manual testing by an experienced tester, a fixed price, and a report that tells you exactly what to fix first.
How we work
- Authorised, always. We never test anything without written permission and agreed rules of engagement.
- No surprises. You get a fixed quote after scoping, and we tell you the same day if we find something critical.
- Plain English. Findings are explained for the people who need to act on them, not to impress.
- Your data stays safe. Test data is kept on encrypted systems, shared only with you, and securely deleted as soon as the assessment is complete.
- No scare tactics. We tell you what matters and what does not, even if that means a smaller engagement.
