What we collect and why

Enquiry forms

When you send an enquiry we collect your name, work email, company, and optionally your job title and phone number, along with the scoping answers you give. We also record the page you were on, any campaign tags in the link you followed (such as utm_source), your approximate country and your browser type. We use this to reply to you and to prepare a quote. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and, where you ask us for a quote, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Newsletter

If you subscribe, we store your email address, optional first name, where you signed up, and a record of when you gave and confirmed consent. We only send the newsletter after you confirm by email. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link. Lawful basis: consent.

Bot protection

Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated spam. Turnstile checks signals from your browser to tell people from bots, without using cookies to track you. See Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy addendum for details.

Who processes your data

Our website, forms, database and email run on Cloudflare, which acts as our processor under its data processing addendum. Cloudflare may process data outside the UK, with safeguards in place for international transfers. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted 24 months after our last contact with you. If you become a client, we keep business records for as long as the law requires, usually six years. Newsletter subscribers are kept until they unsubscribe. After that we keep only a record that you unsubscribed, so we do not email you again.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. We store your light/dark theme choice in your browser's local storage, and campaign tags in session storage for the length of your visit.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to processing, or withdraw consent. Email us to make a request. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
